Dr. Max Tegmark is a Swedish-American cosmologist and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as the scientific director of the Foundational Questions Institute and the co-founder of the Future of Life Institute. The author of more than 200 technical papers on topics from cosmology to artificial intelligence, he has earned the nickname \u201cMad Max\u201d for his unorthodox ideas and passion for adventure.
