Dr. Berebichez is the co-host of Discovery Channels <em>Outrageous Acts of Science<\/em> (2012-present), where she uses her physics background to explain the science behind extraordinary engineering feats. Her musical <em>Gracie and the Atom<\/em>, won a Portland Drammy for Original Score. Her book <em>Physics for Rock Stars<\/em> was published in 2014 by Penguin Random House. Her recent publications include\u00a0<em>Death\u2019s Summer Coat\u00a0<\/em>(on the cultural practices of death and dying) and\u00a0<em>Clockwork Futures\u00a0<\/em>(a social history of technology)\u2014while her current project explores the bizarre history of\u00a0<em>head transplant.<\/em>\u00a0Brandy also serves as Editor-in-chief of the\u00a0<em><u><a href=\"http:\/\/mh.bmj.com\/content\/43\/3?current-issue=y\">Medical Humanities\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/mh.bmj.com\/content\/43\/3?current-issue=y\">Journal<\/a><\/u><\/em>, a publication co-owned by the Institute of Medical Ethics and the BMJ (London). Under her leadership, the journal\u2019s mission has expanded, providing for an international conversation around medicine and its engagement with the humanities, social sciences, health policy, and the public.
