Tap Into STEAM: The Golden 10

Celebrating 10 Years. Giving Back to the Community That Made It Possible.

Sunday, September 13, 2026 | Irish Cultural Center, Utica

Join us for Tap Into STEAM: The Golden 10, a special evening celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Project Fibonacci Foundation and the people, partners and organizations helping make the Mohawk Valley stronger.

For a decade, Project Fibonacci has brought together students, educators, businesses, volunteers and community partners around one simple belief: when we work together, we can create opportunities that make a lasting difference.

Now, we’re celebrating what’s been accomplished—and helping build what’s next.

Enjoy an evening of great food, drinks, live music, basket raffles, special auction experiences and community connection as we kick off another exciting Mohawk Valley Gives campaign.

And this year, the celebration is bigger than Project Fibonacci.

One Night. One Community. A Bigger Impact.

Tap Into STEAM: The Golden 10 brings together an incredible group of nonprofit partners working every day to strengthen our region.

Celebrating the Past. Investing in What’s Next.

The Golden 10 is more than an anniversary party. It’s a celebration of the volunteers, supporters, sponsors, community partners and friends who have made the past decade possible—and an opportunity to invest in the organizations shaping the future of the Mohawk Valley.

Come celebrate with us, raise a glass to 10 incredible years, and help us make an even greater impact in the years ahead.

Meet the Nonprofits

Project Fibonacci Foundation, Inc.

10 Years of Impact. Building What’s Next Across the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Universe Since 2016, Project Fibonacci Foundation (PFF) has reached more than 4,500 young people, primarily from Oneida and Herkimer Counties. Through STEAM Camps, Drone Camps, the ILiFT Literacy Program, STEAM Women Rising Symposia, the ESTEAMed Speakers Series, community programs and our flagship STEAM Leadership Conference, we’ve continued to evolve alongside emerging technologies and the changing needs of our students, employers and community. But our mission has never been simply about teaching STEM or STEAM. Technology will change. The skills needed to navigate that change will always matter. That’s why our programs use STEAM as a platform to develop critical thinking, leadership, communication, collaboration, creativity, adaptability and problem-solving, and entrepreneurial mindsets— the skills young people need to succeed in school, careers and life.

On Point for College

On Point for College is a nationally recognized college and career attainment program. Founded in 1999 to help first-generation students access higher education, On Point has since expanded to provide a full continuum of support: college success and completion, career planning and placement, and—most recently—assistance with non-college post-secondary credential programs. What began in Syracuse now serves nearly all of Central New York, including Cayuga, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, and Oswego Counties. On Point’s Mohawk Valley operation is based in Utica. All services are offered free of charge and are available to students of all ages, backgrounds, and educational levels. On Point works with high school students, recent graduates, those returning to education after time away, and individuals with GED or HSE credentials. With extensive experience supporting students who may face additional barriers—including refugee or immigrant status, parenting responsibilities, foster care involvement, court history, or housing insecurity—On Point is committed to making education and career pathways accessible to everyone.
