The Project Fibonacci Foundation I Lift Team visited the Rome location of the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley last week!

Program creators Barb Welch and Tamalin Martin stopped by The Y to read The Day The Crayons Quit to the students.

Each student was also given their own copy of the book to take home.

The Project Fibonacci Foundation has developed the literacy initiative, ILiFT, to improve literacy skills by providing books to our earliest learners, 3-5 year-olds, as basic literacy skills are the precursors to developing creativity, imagination, and the ongoing skills needed in adulthood that are essential to future careers in STEAM and beyond!
