At the Project Fibonacci Foundation, we love seeing our STEAM Leadership Conference alumni become tomorrow’s leaders and mentors. Today, we spotlight Jackie Mann, a former STEAM Scholar who has become an educator and mentor.
From Scholar to Educator
Jackie Mann’s journey highlights the impact of passion in STEAM fields. As a Mathematics Teacher, she now inspires her students as she once was inspired at our conference. Her role allows her to foster a love for learning and innovation.
A Mentor and Advocate
Outside the classroom, Jackie mentors young women by participating as a panelist in the STEAM Women Rising Symposium. Her involvement shows her commitment to empowering young women in STEAM. She brings her students to the symposium, helping them connect with role models.
Empowering the Next Generation
Jackie encourages young women in STEAM: “Your perspective is valuable! Speak up, take space, and don’t let anyone silence your voice.” Her advice emphasizes the importance of confidence and diverse perspectives in driving innovation.
Continuing the Cycle of Inspiration
Jackie’s transition from STEAM Scholar to educator and mentor embodies the Project Fibonacci Foundation’s mission. By bringing her students to the symposium, she helps nurture the next generation of STEAM leaders.
