Dr. Deborah Berebichez, host of the Discovery Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science and keynote speaker at the 2017 Project Fibonacci STEAM Conference, has joined the Project Fibonacci Board as an honorary member, joining already-announced members Christine McKinley and Dr. David Eagleman.

Dr. Berebichez is a physicist, TV host and STEAM advocate. She is the first Mexican woman to graduate from Stanford University with a PhD in Physics, and she uses her education and background to make science approachable and appealing to a wide range of audiences.

As the host of Outrageous Acts of Science (2012-present), she uses her knowledge of physics to explain the science behind extraordinary engineering feats.

Debbie is currently working on the IMAX film Secrets of the Universe, which will be narrated by Simon Helberg, star of The Big Bang Theory.
