The following are ways to be considered for available scholarship funds*:
- Submit a paper on why you should be chosen to receive funds to attend the 2019 STEAM Leadership Conference. Include goals, aspirations, current academic success, community service and how you would benefit from attending.
- Submit a paper on the value of furthering STEAM education for yourself and/or others and its importance in any career setting.
- If you have attended previous conferences (2016-2018), create a short video describing your experience and how it has benefited you overall as well as its educational benefits and why you recommend it to others
Scholarship submissions are reviewed bi-weekly by our Scholarship Board.
STEAM Scholars and their families will be notified the amount allotted toward tuition.
Once the STEAM Scholar and their family are aware of the allotted funds by the specific company/organization, STEAM Scholars are required to send a “Thank You” letter to the provided point of contact.
During the conference, sponsored STEAM Scholars will be encouraged to participate in scheduled photo ops with their sponsor and to write an additional “Thank You” letter providing insight to their experience and to promote future funding opportunities.
Specifications:
- All paper submissions must be at least 1-2 pages, size 12 font, single spaced
- Video entries must be 3-5 minutes in length
